How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days to explore the platform with 1 project. After the trial expires, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the platform. No credit card required to start.
Are there any transaction fees on client payments?
No. Client payments are handled directly between you and your clients via bank transfer or PayPal. PreConstruct AI does not charge any transaction fees on client payments.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds, but no surprise charges either.
What happens when I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrades take effect immediately — you only pay the prorated difference for the rest of your billing cycle. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing period, so you keep full access to your current plan until then with no immediate charge.
What payment methods do you accept?
For SaaS subscriptions, we accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe's secure checkout. All subscription prices are in USD. Client payments are handled separately via bank transfer or PayPal.
What currency are proposals in?
Proposals automatically use the correct currency based on your project location — USD for projects in the United States and CAD for projects in Canada. The currency is displayed throughout the proposal and client portal.
Do unused credits roll over?
Starter credits reset monthly (no rollover). Professional and Enterprise credits roll over for up to 3 months. Purchased credits (Enterprise only) never expire.
Can I buy extra credits?
Credit top-up packs are available exclusively on the Enterprise plan. Starter and Professional users can upgrade to Enterprise to unlock this feature.
